Long-Term Follow-Up of Hypoglossia-Hypodactylia Syndrome: A Case Report

Hypoglossia-hypodactylia syndrome is an extremely rare congenital anomaly characterized by a hypoplastic mandible, absence of the lower incisors, hypoglossia, and variable degree digits limbs, with risk dysarthria dysphagia. We report articulation function swallowing patient hypoglossia-hypodactylia who was followed up to eight years old. Our did not have feeding disturbances. She articulatory disturbance, including /t/ /r/, sound articulated using proglossis. In future, it necessary plastic operation for abnormal adhesion lip mandibular gingiva depression on lip, distraction osteogenesis micrognathia. Also, will be continuously monitor disturbance until child uses more words. Therefore, long-term intervention multidisciplinary approach necessary.
